Jannik Sinner has edged out Carlos Alcaraz once more this season, beating him to the ATP Fans’ Favorite singles award.
Sinner has won the ATP Fans’ Favorite award for the third successive year, proving his popularity among tennis fans.
He has now claimed the honor three times throughout his career so far, placing Sinner second in the all-time list.
The Italian is, however, well behind legendary figure Roger Federer, who won the ATP Fans’ Favorite award a stunning 19 times.

Rennae Stubbs thinks Jannik Sinner has endeared himself to tennis fans
Sinner is now enjoying a run of dominance of his own, with former player Rennae Stubbs offering her verdict as to why he’s secured the award once again for 2025.
She said on The Rennae Stubbs Tennis Podcast: “I have a theory. My theory is the way he handled the French Open loss really endeared himself to a lot of fans. I think that made him.
“The way he handled that and then went and won Wimbledon and the way he talked about his loss at the French and his admiration of Carlos and how he makes him a better player, and even the way he talked about the loss at the US Open and how he talked about that, he said Carlos did this and that different.
Who is your favorite ATP player right now?
“I just think he endeared himself at the French Open, just like Amanda Anisimova did at Wimbledon with her loss.
“She will be beloved a bit like Jana Novotna, when she broke down, she was beloved at Wimbledon after that and I think she will be loved there because of that.”

Jannik Sinner can take confidence from following in Roger Federer’s footsteps
Sinner was indeed hugely impressive with his grace in defeat this season, which admittedly wasn’t a very regular occurrence.
Alcaraz did, however, manage to beat the Italian superstar in the finals of both the French Open and the US Open.
Those defeats arrived after Sinner defeated the Spaniard in the Wimbledon final, claiming his maiden Grand Slam title at the grass-court Grand Slam.
What is your boldest tennis prediction for 2026?
The Fans’ Favorite award is certainly not Sinner’s most prized asset of 2025, but it should do his confidence the world of good going forward.
It also really helps that he’s somewhat following in the footsteps of Federer, who has gone down as one of the greatest and most gracious players ever.
After a brief holiday, Sinner will return to action at the 2026 Australian Open in January, the first Grand Slam tournament of the season.
