Wimbledon is the next big tournament on the horizon, with the ATP stars gearing up for the third Grand Slam of 2025.
Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner will once again be the men to beat following their epic battle at the French Open.
The Spaniard won on that occasion, but as the world number one, it’s hard to discount Sinner from winning any tournament he chooses to play in at present.
Alcaraz and Sinner have shared the last six Grand Slams, and now talk has turned towards who might be the next player to win one who isn’t one of the world’s top two.
Andy Roddick hailed Jack Draper in that particular discussion, and now Pat Cash has stuck his opinion into the mix.

The Australian won Wimbledon in 1987 and that probably means that he’s worthy of an opinion when it comes to who could win the crown this time around.
Taylor Fritz won the BOSS Open at the weekend, beating Alexander Zverev in the final, and his game looks well-suited to the grass.
However, Cash isn’t really fancying him and doesn’t view him as a future Wimbledon champion.
He said live on BBC Two: “No, I really don’t see it, he’s a very tough, solid player who will give you everything, but I don’t see him as a future Wimbledon champion.”
The 27-year-old achieved a career-best run to the quarter-final last year but was beaten by Lorenzo Musetti in five sets.
Fritz has to prove that he can go all the way at Wimbledon
Although Fritz is a good player, Cash does perhaps have a point here.
To be 27 and only make the last eight of Wimbledon twice isn’t really good enough, and it’s easy to grasp why people can be dismissive of Fritz’s credentials.
With players like Draper coming up on the rails on the ATP Tour, Fritz is fighting a losing battle to prove that he can win Wimbledon.
The field is going to be so strong once more at the All England Club in 2025 that it’s hard to imagine Fritz going all the way.
The American will naturally be very dangerous, but his form is definitely a cause for concern going into the event.
