Fresh after Novak Djokovic announced the end of his partnership with Andy Murray, he is back on the practice court.

The Serbian is not playing this week after he decided to skip the Italian Open, which left many eyebrows raised.

This was even more confusing given that the 37-year-old has played just two matches on clay since winning the Olympic gold medal at the 2024 Paris Games.

But Djokovic accepted a wildcard into the Geneva Open and he is hard at work preparing for the ATP 250 event, which runs from May 18-24.

Novak Djokovic is on a mission to win a 100th ATP Tour title and a record 25th Grand Slam championship.

With the French Open on the horizon, Djokovic is aiming to arrive in Paris in peak condition and form, and he will use the Geneva Open to help him achieve that.

Now Djokovic is preparing for the tournament and he has uploaded a video to his TikTok channel of his practice sessions.’

He was filmed having some rallies with his fellow Serbian player Miomir Kecmanović and former World number 12 Viktor Troicki was also involved.

Djokovic played at the Geneva Open last season and reached the semi-finals. He will aim to improve on that performance this season.

Novak Djokovic will enter the Geneva Open without Andy Murray as his coach

Djokovic will finish the clay court season and go into the grass court campaign without Andy Murray as his coach.

After working together for six months, Djokovic announced that his friends and former rival would no longer be coaching him.

“Thank you, coach Andy, for all the hard work, fun & support over the last six months on & off the court,” Djokovic posted on X. “I really enjoyed deepening our friendship together.”

Murray responded: “Thanks to Novak for the unbelievable opportunity to work together and thanks to his team for all their hard work over the past six months. I wish Novak all the best for the rest of the season.”

It remains to be seen who Djokovic will hire as his coach and whether Murray will soon start coaching another player, as the tennis tour commences a pivotal portion of the season.
