Novak Djokovic added another title to his expansive trophy collection after winning the ATP 250 title in Athens.
Djokovic beat Lorenzo Musetti to win the Hellenic Championship, which is the 101st title of his decorated career.
There had been many questions about what would be next for the 24-time Grand Slam champion, with Djokovic then confirming he would not be playing the ATP Finals.
Djokovic has now posted another message on social media reflecting on his victory in the Greek capital.

Novak Djokovic sends message to Lorenzo Musetti on social media
Djokovic won his 100th ATP title at the Geneva Open back in May, which is the only other title he had won this year before the Hellenic Championships in Athens.
After winning the title at his family-run tournament in Athens, Djokovic has posted a message on social media to dedicate his title to people of Greece, where he now resides.
Djokovic also sent a message to Musetti, who he claimed has a ‘bright future’ after beating him in the final.
The Serbian wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter), “I dedicate this win to the wonderful people of Greece. You support me, you support tennis, you’ve made me feel at home. Huge gratitude also to everyone who made this beautiful new tournament so special.
“To Lorenzo, what an epic battle. Congratulations on an incredible performance and tournament. Keep it going, your future is bright. Idemooo [Let’s go in Serbian].”
Rennae Stubbs, Brad Gilbert and Patrick McEnroe react to Novak Djokovic’s Athens victory
As with anything that Djokovic does, there has been a big reaction to his latest title victory, as he closes down on Roger Federer’s tally of 103 tournament wins.
This includes six-time Grand Slam doubles champion Rennae Stubbs, who has predicted Djokovic to retire at the Australian Open next year.
Stubbs wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter), “What an incredible match from @DjokerNole…101 titles is insane!”
Coco Gauff’s former coach Brad Gilbert also praised the 38-year-old’s achievement, “Tremendous from Djoker.”
This was met with a response by former Roland Garros doubles champion Patrick McEnroe, who simply added, “What a match.”
After officially withdrawing from the ATP Finals, Djokovic has now confirmed that he has ended his season and will not return to the match court until 2026.
This ironically means that Musetti has now been able to take Djokovic’s place in the ATP Finals, and will now compete in Turin next week.
