Novak Djokovic has just made history during French Open quarter-final against Alexander Zverev

Novak Djokovic lost the first set against Alexander Zverev but roared back to reach another French Open semi-final.

The Serbian legend will now face Jannik Sinner for a place in Sunday’s final.

Djokovic has looked in superb form at Roland Garros this year, and it would appear that any signs of his 38 years catching up with him haven’t been noticeable.

With Carlos Alcaraz still in the competition too, it appears that a brilliant finale lies in waiting to see who wins this year’s title in Paris.

Novak Djokovic makes history with French Open win over Alexander Zverev

There really aren’t enough superlatives for this legendary sportsman!

Djokovic is a complete and utter superhuman in the world of sport, and undoubtedly, he’s the best player to ever play the sport of tennis.

After this win over Zverev, another record has tumbled, with Opta Ace confirming that he’s now the first player to win more than 10 matches against opponents ranked in the top five of the world rankings at multiple Grand Slam tournaments.

He has now won 18 matches at the Australian Open against top-five players and has fetched up a tenth win over a player in the top five at Roland Garros too.

Djokovic has proven time and time again that he’s the man for the big occasion and right now, he’s a serious contender to collect another French Open crown.

This promises to be a cracker on Friday and the stakes could not be higher for the two players.

Sinner and Djokovic are vying for a place in the final of the French Open, and Djokovic can now smell the sweet scent of a 25th Grand Slam title.
