Nick Kyrgios and Novak Djokovic have quickly gone from enemies to friends, with that friendship on show at Wimbledon.

The former has been reduced to commentary duties due to injury, with the Australian certain to be impressed by what he has seen from the Serbian thus far.

Djokovic has stormed into yet another Wimbledon final, having just overcome Lorenzo Musetti in the semi-final.

The 24-time Grand Slam winner will now meet Carlos Alcaraz on Sunday, in what is a rematch of the 2023 final at SW19.

Kyrgios certainly knows all about just how dangerous Djokvic can be in Wimbledon finals, with the former losing to the latter at that stage in 2022.

Nick Kyrgios reveals conversation with Novak Djokovic’s son at Wimbledon

The duo reunited on the court once more earlier this month, with Kyrgios and Djokovic exchanging messages on Instagram after their practice session.

The Australian then practised with Djokovic’s son at the All England Club, and has now revealed a discussion he had regarding his Dad.

“It’s a great family,” Kyrgios said on BBC TV. “I was on court with Stefan yesterday for about half an hour and lost a double match, so that family has something over me!

“I don’t know what it is. I asked him if he knows actually how good his Dad is, and he said ‘he’s pretty good’. I told him ‘you have no idea how good he is!’”

Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic set for contrasting receptions at Wimbledon

Djokovic has once again proven he is not to be messed with at Wimbledon, having now reached a sixth successive SW19 final.

He will be out for revenge against Alcaraz on Centre Court, where the Spaniard looks certain to be the crowd favourite.

The defending champion has formed a close bond with those watching his matches, even if the Wimbledon crowd did boo Alcaraz after his semi-final win over Daniil Medvedev.

But those boos were definitely in jest, unlike the treatment that Djokovic has received at the All England Club this month.

The seven-time champion will, however, undoubtedly use that to his advantage when the final comes around.
