The four Grand Slam tournaments are the cornerstone of tennis, and excite fans on a yearly basis.
2025’s Grand Slam tennis campaign began at the Australian Open, as fans witnessed two weeks of thrilling action at Melbourne Park.
Jannik Sinner defended his Australian Open title as he beat Germany’s Alexander Zverev in the final, 6-3, 7-6, 6-3.
On the women’s side, Madison Keys shocked Aryna Sabalenka to win her first Major title at 29 years of age.

The stars of the ATP and WTA Tour will now prepare for the French Open in May when Grand Slam tennis returns in Paris.
A trip to London will follow before New York hosts the final Major of the year at the US Open in August.
For over 100 years, the Grand Slam campaign has consisted of four tournaments, although fans are now discussing the possible inclusion of a fifth, on an entirely new surface.
Tennis fans are behind the idea of a ‘beach tennis’ Grand Slam and predict who would win
Footage of the Luanco Beach Tennis Tournament has recently been shared on social media, as some question whether it could work as a potential ‘fifth’ Major tournament.
Fans took to X to share their thoughts, as many believe it would be a welcome addition to the tennis calendar.
“I’m all for this,” said one fan.
“It’d be good to add a surface that gives opportunity to players that are not super tall,” added another.
“We shouldn’t want tennis to become basketball, that disables a huge amount of players/fans.”
“I guess it would be a lot better for the joints and maybe less injuries?” questioned another.
Fans were also quick to agree on where the event should be held.
“Please in Rio [de Janeiro],” said one fan.
“That’s made for Rio de Janeiro!” agreed another.
“Should be in Rio de Janeiro,” said another tennis fan.
Many also predicted which player would have enjoyed the most success on the ‘beach’ surface.
“Rafael Nadal would have been the King of sand,” said one tennis fan.

“Rafa [Nadal] would’ve won this 18 times,” said another.
“Somehow, I still think Nadal would win a lot still,” added one fan.
