Jannik Sinner is very much the man of the moment and his relentless form continued at the ATP Finals in Turin.
Sinner blew Taylor Fritz away during tonight’s final to put a fine cap on his 2024 with just the Davis Cup left to play.
The Italian won the title on home soil to ensure that he added the ATP Finals trophy to the two Grand Slam trophies he won this year.
Sinner overcame Fritz in straight sets, winning 6-4, 6-4 to lift the title in front of the home fans who sang his name afterwards.
The man is comfortably world number one and will end the season maintaining that position and at 23, it’s scary how good he could become.

Laura Robson shared what Taylor Fritz did in his chair after defeat to Jannik Sinner
The Sky Sports pundit was in the courtside chair and she shared something really interesting that Fritz did after the defeat.
Fritz must be sick of the sight of Sinner after his defeat in the US Open final back in September and he has to keep plugging away.
Robson shared what she saw Fritz do after the match as the two players waited in their chairs for the trophy ceremony to start.
She told Sky Sports Tennis: “I’ve just spent the last few minutes looking at Taylor Fritz and I found it really interesting.
“He was gesturing to his box and explaining what he could and should have done in certain moments, he’s really beating himself up.”
Fritz can come again in 2025
This can be a seriously successful year for Fritz to look back on even if he’s not claimed a trophy of any significant note.
The 27-year-old has some time on his side and he’s got to try and find a way to win matches against the top stars in the tournaments.
With the Australian Open going to come around very quickly, Fritz will have a short break around Christmas and then look to come back next year.
First, Fritz will hope to help the USA claim success in the Davis Cup and that is something for him to look forward to.
It’s no slight to lose to Sinner again and when it comes to playing indoors, it’s fair to say that the Italian is a formidable player.
Fritz shouldn’t beat himself up and hopefully, he takes a lot of heart from the second half of 2024.
