Juan Martin del Potro has been keeping close tabs on tennis despite retiring from the sport late last year.
Del Potro was in Novak Djokovic’s box at the Miami Open, with the duo having played against one another for the former’s farewell in December.
Djokovic received an emotional message from Del Potro after their meeting, having played out a fantastic rivalry during their careers.
The Argentine won one Grand Slam title during his time on the court, superbly triumphing at the 2009 US Open.
Del Potro overcame fellow legend Roger Federer in New York that year, before losing the 2018 US Open final to Djokovic in his only other Grand Slam final.
