Alcaraz and Sinner have dominated tennis in 2025, with Ferrero coaching the former against his biggest rival in three Grand Slam finals this year.

However, after their seven-year partnership came to an end, Ferrero has spoken to Spanish news outlet Marca about his current situation.

In this interview, Ferrero was asked if he would ever coach world number two and Alcaraz’s biggest rival, Sinner.

While he did not completely rule out the idea, Ferrero admitted that he is not ready to make that move as he still thinks about Alcaraz every day.

“It’s something I’d have to think about,” said Ferrero. “They’re extraordinary players, but as I said before, it’s not the time to think about something like that and say yes or no. Now is the time to get through this difficult period because I still think about Carlos every day, and it’s not the time to think about others.”
