Carlos Alcaraz is among the Team Europe players looking to beat Team World at the Laver Cup this week.
Alcaraz thinks Team Europe can win the Laver Cup, which is already underway at the Uber Arena in Berlin.
The hosts are looking to end a drought in the tournament, with John McEnroe’s Team World having won the last two events.
And they certainly have a good chance of success in Berlin given they have the likes of world numbers two and three Alexander Zverev and Alcaraz respectively.
McEnroe wants Alcaraz to play ‘terribly’ at the Laver Cup, with the Spaniard clearly striking fear into the Team World captain.

The American has the utmost respect for the four-time Grand Slam champion, who won the French Open and Wimbledon earlier this year.
Speaking to Tennis Channel ahead of the Laver Cup, McEnroe said: “Carlos Alcaraz I think has done a great thing for our sport, in addition to being an electric player and a great personality, but he has everything, he’s the most complete player we’ve ever seen, so I think the other top guys are looking at him and thinking ‘hey I better get better at the net, I better get better on my approach game’.”
Borg responded: “Really?” with McEnroe saying: “Do you agree with that?” with his opposing captain concurring: “Yeah of course I agree with John.”
Carlos Alcaraz set to become a Laver Cup mainstay
Alcaraz has enjoyed a remarkable rise to the top, having already held the world number one ranking despite being aged just 21.
The Spaniard has a US Open, French Open and two Wimbledon titles to his name, with the Australian Open the only Grand Slam he has yet to conquer.
That is, however, very likely to arrive in the near future, with an Olympic gold medal also on the cards after his final loss to Novak Djokovic this summer.

He certainly leads the way in several areas on the court in comparison to his fellow professionals, although Alcaraz will be disappointed by his form going into the Laver Cup.
A very disappointing second round exit was suffered at the US Open, which came after a first round exit at the Cincinnati Open.
But there can be no questioning his ability, with the Spanish star certain to shine brightly at the Laver Cup in Berlin, and indeed at the event for many years to come.
