Novak Djokovic has certainly lived up to his role as the villain at Wimbledon after his latest antics on the court.
The seven-time winner spoke out against fans after his fourth round win over Holger Rune at the All England club.
Djokovic claimed those inside Centre Court were elongating Rune’s surname as an excuse to boo the 24-time Grand Slam champion.
Reacting to the Serbian’s post-match interview, Nick Kyrgios said that Djokovic ‘doesn’t need more of a motive to play well’.
The world number two’s anger then spilt into another interview, which Djokovic walked out of after being repeatedly asked about his post-match comments.

The Serbian has enjoyed many superb moments at Wimbledon over the years, with his seven titles just one behind all-time leader Roger Federer.
But tennis legend John McEnroe believes Djokovic does not get the respect he deserves for his stunning career.

When asked on BBC TV what he would say to Djokovic after the Serb’s latest comments, McEnroe responded: “Well done.”
He added: “Don’t you think there’s been at least 100 matches over the course of the last 10-15 years that Djokovic has been disrespected because of how good he is?
“What has he done that’s so bad? Name something. What is it, that he wants it? He competes as hard as anyone who’s ever competed? Is it the look, where he’s from?”

Djokovic leads the way for men’s Grand Slam titles in the Open Era, with his 24 followed by Rafael Nadal (22) and Federer (20).
The trio battled it out several times across the various majors, with Andy Murray joining in on the rivalries at times.
But for McEnroe, it is Djokovic who stands out from the rest, with the American continuing his staunch defence of the Serbian star.
“He’s like the Darth Vader compared to two of the classiest acts we’ve seen play tennis – Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer,” McEnroe added.
“Who can compare to them in terms of what they brought to the table? Nobody – and then this guy Djokovic spoils the party. So then how about respecting him after all this?
“He’s by far the guy who’s taken the worst heat and that’s why I would say he’s the greatest that’s ever played.”
