Roger Federer has got people talking after his latest admission about wanting to make a return to the tennis court.
Federer retired at the Laver Cup in 2022, playing his last match alongside Rafael Nadal in doubles.
The 20-time Grand Slam champion has made appearances at tennis events as a spectator, with Federer appearing at Wimbledon in the royal box.
However, after his latest revelation, fans are now excited about Federer playing tennis in front of crowds once again.

Federer has expressed his hope to play exhibitions in the future, and now John Isner has theoried over where the former world number one could play.
Isner, who beat Federer twice in their 10 meetings, has suggested that Las Vegas could be a potential location for the Swiss’ comeback.
“I don’t have any inside knowledge. I think we will get to see him in Las Vegas at something,” Isner said on the Nothing Major Podcast. “The Netflix Slam before Indian Wells. I have no sources there, by the way! It sounded like I did.
“But my prediction is that maybe he gets there for the Netflix Slam in Las Vegas and have the whole world watching.”
In recent years, Las Vegas has hosted the likes of Carlos Alcaraz and Nadal, most recently seeing Aryna Sabalenka play alongside Andre Agassi.

With Nadal also retired now, Sam Querrey has suggested what would happen if there was an exhibition between the Spaniard and Federer.
“That would be cool!” exclaimed Querrey. “And a Fed vs Nadal exhibition anywhere in the world sells out in about one and a half seconds.”

Federer and Nadal played exhibitions against one another even while they were active players, including a match where half the court was clay and the other half was grass.

The now 43-year-old was at The Masters golf event over the weekend as a spectator, where he was asked on ESPN about Nadal.
In response, Federer said that he would like to play golf alongside Nadal, but did not appear to want to reignite his rivalry with the Mallorcan.
“We should play together,” said Federer, laughing. “I think we’ve played enough against each other.”
Federer and Nadal played have each other on 40 occasions throughout their career, with the latter having the advantage in their head-to-head with 24 victories.
Their final ever meeting came at Wimbledon in 2019, when Federer beat Nadal to reach what turned out to be the last Grand Slam final of his career.
