Jessica Pegula has won her fourth WTA 1000 title at the Dubai Tennis Championships.

Pegula fought back against Amanda Anisimova from a set and a break down to even reach the final in Dubai.

In her first final at the Dubai Tennis Championships, Pegula beat Elina Svitolina, 6-2 6-4, to win her 10th WTA title.

Following her victory in Dubai, Pegula took to social media to hit back at a tennis fan.

Jessica Pegula responds to tennis fan after Dubai victory

Pegula is often praised for being one of the most consistent players on the WTA Tour, and early in the week a statistic came out that showed she had reached the semifinals of every tournament she had played since the US Open.

However, one tennis fan, who has since made their X account private, responded to the post made by Tennis Channel and questioned how many titles she had won at these tournaments.

Which Grand Slam is Jessica Pegula most likely to win?

Pegula had not won a title since the Bad Homburg Open in June, and she subsequently responded by saying, “0 my friend. Dubai is pending.”

However, after winning one of the biggest titles of her career, Pegula made sure to return to this post and have the last laugh.

The American wrote on X, “Clocked it,” attached to a picture of her holding the Dubai Tennis Championships trophy.

Pegula also posted a separate message on Instagram, simply writing, “#10 (trophy emoji) Thank you Dubai.”

This social media post received reactions from the likes of Coco Gauff and John Isner praising Pegula for her victory.
