Jannik Sinner is a champion on the ATP Tour once more after emerging successful at the Paris Masters.
Sinner defeated Felix Auger-Aliassime 6-4, 7-6(7-4) in the final of the Paris Masters, extending his indoor winning streak to 26 matches.
It represents a fifth ATP Masters 1000 title for Sinner, who has also returned to number one in the world rankings.
The Italian needed one hour and 52 minutes to beat Auger-Aliassime, with the win taking their head-to-head record to 3-2 in the champion’s favour.
Sinner didn’t drop a single set en route to his success at the Paris Masters, where he also beat the likes of Ben Shelton and Alexander Zverev.

Jannik Sinner shares his next goal after winning the Paris Masters
While he is eager to celebrate yet another success, the Italian will soon turn his focus to another run at the ATP Finals.
Indeed, sharing his immediate goal after Paris, he told Sky: “It has been an amazing year considering everything together.
“Making very deep runs in so many tournaments. Coming here, handling every situation the best possible way.
“Today was a tough match. I had some chances in the second set but he served huge there and I have to accept that.
“You try and push yourself to the limit and the tiebreaks I played very solid, making barely any mistakes and going back to number one and winning here means a lot to me and my team.
“Of course now, the next goal is to be as ready as possible for Turin but I also want to enjoy this because it’s been an amazing tournament.”
Jannik Sinner analyses his 2025 season ahead of the ATP Finals
Sinner is one of the seven players who have already qualified for the ATP Finals, which return to Turin later this month.
Auger-Aliassime and Lorenzo Musetti meanwhile are set to battle it out for the final spot, with the latter currently taking on the Hellenic Championship in a bid to finally get over the line.
Sinner can, therefore, relax in that regard, but the hard work won’t stop as he prepares to defend his title on home soil.
Discussing his approach of knowing when to push to the maximum, the Italian explained: “Every day we have one opponent and one challenge in front of our eyes and you have to manage it in the best possible way.
“Today was a really tough one but it’s really important to understand what works well in certain situations and I feel that was a bit the key.
“Trying to save some energy at times and all things considered, confidence is so important in our sport and I have a lot because of the couple of seasons that I played.
“Now let’s see what is coming in Turin. I am looking forward to it, playing in front of my own crowd, and I’m trying to finish the season in the best possible way but at the same time, no matter what happens there, it has been an amazing season.”
