Jannik Sinner has revealed what his ultimate goal is for 2024.
These comments came after he had tasted silverware for the third time this year already, joining an illustrious and short list of players to have won three titles in the first three months of a season under the age of 23.
Other outstanding names include Roger Federer, Lleyton Hewitt and Andy Murray…

Having battered Grigor Dimitrov to win the Miami Open, he has now set his sights ahead after reaching a milestone he never thought he would; even past the Clay Court season.
But what is he prioritising, even above rising to the apex of the men’s sport? We take a closer look…
Jannik Sinner is eyeing Olympic gold
Speaking to the Tennis Channel immediately after his title success in Miami, Sinner was as humble as ever when reviewing his dominant performance.
Having brushed aside Daniil Medvedev in emphatic fashion to reach the pinnacle, a red-hot Dimitrov was all that stood between him and his third title of the season.
However, he showed no nerves, and despite the Bulgarian enjoying some of the form of his career, it proved inconsequential.
Sinner was cutthroat and relentless, winning in straight sets, 1-6, 3-6.
When asked to then look ahead to the rest of the season, he actually detailed how he has one priority that even usurps potentially toppling Novak Djokovic as the world number one.
The 22-year-old noted: ‘Last year at the end of the year we were talking more about the Olympics because the Olympics are once every four years. So let’s see what’s coming there.
‘I mean we, as I said at the beginning of the year, we try to hunt and then what we can catch we get. There are some good weeks, until now there are only good weeks, and if not you know there are new opportunities so… let’s see.’
Jannik Sinner could win it all at his current rate
Given how unstoppable the Italian has been throughout 2024 thus far, he has every right to be eyeing tennis’ ultimate prizes.
After all, he kickstarted the year by winning his first-ever Grand Slam title in Australia, and with that monkey now off his back at such a young age, the world really is at his feet.
Clay Court season could prove tricky for him going by previous years, but due to poor performances around this time last year, especially at Roland-Garros, he has few points to defend.
So there is every chance that one or two solid runs could help him creep up on Novak Djokovic.

However, with this goal only secondary to his Olympic dream, this promises to be a true breakthrough season for Sinner in which he establishes himself as one of the world’s most fearsome players.
Given he has won 22 of the 23 matches he has played this year, claiming three titles in the process too, there are few on the planet who would relish matching him in any draw.
Should this form persist, Sinner might dominate more than we could have ever imagined in 2024.
