Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz will face off for one last time this year in the ATP Finals championship match.
Defending champion Sinner defeated Alex de Minaur to book his place in a third consecutive final in Turin, while Alcaraz overcame Felix Auger-Aliassime to reach the title bout at the year-end event for the first time.
The two stars have clashed five times since January, with three of their tour-level meetings coming in Grand Slam finals.

Alcaraz has won four of their five 2025 bouts, with Sinner‘s sole triumph coming in the Wimbledon final during the summer.
Despite the lopsided season head-to-head, the Italian will enter the ATP Finals matchup as the favourite, with the conditions suiting him, however, Serena Williams‘ former coach, Patrick Mouratoglou, does not think he will have it all his own way in front of a home crowd.
Patrick Mouratoglou predicts who will win the ATP Finals trophy
In a post on Instagram, Mouratoglou said: “Carlos against Jannik. Dream final. The two best players in the world. Who is going to win? I would say there is a clear edge for Jannik.
“First of all, he’s playing at an incredible level at the moment. Second of all, he’s great indoors. Three, his serve is back. He lost a bit of his serve quality during the US Open. His serve quality is back, and it’s very important, even more indoors.
Is another Carlos Alcaraz vs Jannik Sinner final good for men’s tennis?
“Then I have to look at Carlos. Not a great performance all the way. Indoors is not a good surface for him; it has never been. I think he can play well on every surface, but I don’t think this is his best surface, so there is an edge for Jannik.
“But be careful. In big matches, you can’t count Carlos out. He is always showing up, so I think it’s gonna still be a close match, but I give a little advantage to Jannik.”
Jannik Sinner’s unbeatable form at the 2025 ATP Finals
Sinner’s hot form will certainly be a problem for Alcaraz, with the world number two yet to drop a set in Turin.
He topped his group comfortably, beating Auger-Aliassime, Alexander Zverev, and Ben Shelton, before earning his 13th straight victory over De Minaur in the semifinals.
| Round | Opponent (Result) | Score |
| Semifinals | Alex de Minaur (W) | 7-5, 6-2 |
| Group Stage | Ben Shelton (W) | 6-3, 7-6 |
| Group Stage | Alexander Zverev (W) | 6-4, 6-3 |
| Group Stage | Felix Auger-Aliassime (W) | 7-5, 6-1 |
The 24-year-old has not conceded a break of serve throughout the tournament yet and has only faced 12 break points across four matches.
Should Sinner emerge victorious against Alcaraz, he will become the fourth player this century to win back-to-back ATP Finals titles, joining Lleyton Hewitt, Roger Federer, and Novak Djokovic.
