Jannik Sinner looks simply unstoppable at the moment, and is now two wins away from completing the Sunshine Double.

The Italian has yet to drop a set throughout his campaigns at both the Indian Wells Open and the Miami Open.

Sinner beat Frances Tiafoe to book his place in the semifinals, where he will take on third seed Alexander Zverev.

Who is the better hard court player – Carlos Alcaraz or Jannik Sinner?

With the victory over Tiafoe, the world number two clinched a record-extending 30th consecutive set won at an ATP Masters event.

As well as that ongoing streak, Sinner increased his incredible match-win record in the Sunshine Double, which is better than any player in history.

Jannik Sinner’s incredible record in Indian Wells and Miami

Throughout his career, Sinner has tallied a win-loss record of 41-6 during the Sunshine double, a strike rate of 87.23%.

His percentage ranks first all-time, comfortably higher than that of Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic.

Djokovic has the second-highest win percentage at the Sunshine Double with 83.61%, followed by Federer with 81.88%

The next highest active player is Carlos Alcaraz, who, despite an early exit in Miami this year and last year, holds a strike rate of 80.85%.

Jannik Sinner’s results in Indian Wells and Miami over the years

Sinner has made five appearances at both the Indian Wells Open and the Miami Open in his career.

In his first campaign in Miami, Sinner reached the championship match but fell to Hubert Hurkacz in straight sets.

Who are you backing to complete the sunshine double?

Or do you think both Sabalenka and Sinner will win the Miami Open?

He reached the final of Miami again in 2023, having advanced to the semifinals of Indian Wells earlier that month.

Then, in 2024, Sinner picked up his first title during the Sunshine Double at the Miami Open, which he has now added to in 2026 by triumphing in Indian Wells.
