Jack Draper has postponed his start to the clay court season after withdrawing from the Monte Carlo Masters.

Draper suffered a bone injury in his left arm last year, which kept him out of competition for nearly six months.

The Briton impressed in just his second ATP tournament back at Indian Wells, with Draper beating Novak Djokovic en route to reaching the quarterfinals.

Draper then lost to Reilly Opelka in his only match at the Miami Open, and concerns have now been raised again after pulling out of the Monte Carlo Masters.

Sebastian Korda stunned Alcaraz at the Miami Open, but he lost his following match against another young Spaniard in Martin Landaluce.

It was clear in this match that Korda was struggling with a back issue, and he has now pulled out of the Monte Carlo Masters.

Korda has been replaced by Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard, with the American lineup continuing to thin at the Monte Carlo Masters this year, with just Frances Tiafoe remaining in the main draw.

The Monte Carlo Masters main draw will get underway on April 5, when the world number one ranking will be on the line as Jannik Sinner looks to dethrone Alcaraz.
