Jack Draper won’t be standing on the podium at the Olympics after his defeat yesterday to American star Taylor Fritz.
The Great Britain number one lost in three sets to Fritz after taking the first following a tie-breaker.
Draper has endured a bit of a whirlwind few weeks as he settles into life as a professional tennis player.
He knocked Carlos Alcaraz out of Wimbledon but was then thrashed by Cameron Norrie in the second round of Wimbledon in straight sets.
After losing at the Olympics, he gave a brutally honest interview and he shared what he has to improve on following this defeat.

Jack Draper shares what he struggled with against Taylor Fritz
Things do sound a bit farcical at the Olympics at Roland Garros with players complaining of poor conditions to keep water cold.
The on-court fridges don’t appear to be great and Draper complained about having to drink hot water to hydrate during this clash.
In analysing his own performance, however, the player has admitted one thing that he must do better as the year progresses.
He told BBC Sport: “It is the hottest conditions since I’ve been out in America at the start of the year, so I’m not used to it.
“My physicality still has to get better but I gave my all.”
Draper has bags of time on his side and could star at the US Open
One of these days, it will all click so effortlessly for Draper and he will enjoy a brilliant run at a major tournament.
He’s shown so far in his young career that he can mix it up with the top players but the challenge is doing it on a frequent basis.
Draper’s physical qualities will improve with the more games he plays and that won’t happen overnight.
Losing to Fritz is no big deal and after his Wimbledon run the American is one of the form players on the tour right now.
Draper reached the fourth round of the US Open last year and with more matches under his belt this year, he will now look forward to heading to Flushing Meadows next month.
