Jack Draper picked up yet another top-10 victory after knocking Taylor Fritz out of the Paris Masters.
Draper has big plans after his Vienna Open win, having beaten Karen Khachanov in Sunday’s final in Austria.
But Draper has now turned his focus to the Paris Masters, where the Briton is once again hugely impressing.
Patrick Mouratoglou has backed Draper to be a top-10 player, with the British number one now into the last 16 in the French capital.
He overcame fifth seed and US Open finalist Fritz 7-6(8-6),4-6, 6-4 in two hours and 21 minutes to reach the last 16.

Up next for the British number one is another very tricky test against Paris Masters ninth seed Alex de Minaur.
Draper is rightfully proud of his latest victory, having told Sky Sports Tennis: “It was difficult. I don’t think it was the cleanest tennis from either of us. We served pretty well, but it’s tough to get used to the conditions here in all honesty.

“I thought I did a really good job of competing really hard. Taylor’s always a really tough battle, competes really well, obviously serves one of the best on the tour and he’s a top player for a reason.
“I know if I want to be a consistent top player, I’m going to have to back up match after match against the top players in the world. The hardest part for me this week has been adjusting to the conditions. It’s a lot different here, a lot faster.
“I played in a way which was not the best, but at the same time I’m really proud, of the way I competed, the way I problem-solved and the main things I got over the line in the end.”

Both De Minaur and Draper will be aiming to serve up their best tennis in Paris given their Race To Turin ambitions.
But the duo also need to take things one game at a time at the Masters 1,000 event, especially given their injury issues of late.

Draper has, however, managed to overcome his problems in stunning fashion, having stormed to his maiden ATP 500 title in Vienna.
He endured a tricky time after reaching the US Open semi-finals, where he lost to world number one Jannik Sinner.
Fritz meanwhile will be disappointed with the defeat, although it was always going to be hard to stop the momentum of Draper, who has now secured his seventh successive win.
