Jack Draper has thrived under the guidance of his new coach, quickly reaping the benefits of their developing partnership.
The 22-year-old added Wayne Ferreira to his team in May and, after a sub-par season on the European dirt, Draper clinched his first ATP title on the grass in Stuttgart.
He then surpassed Cameron Norrie as the British number one but has since grappled with early exits at Wimbledon, the Olympics, and the Canadian Open.
Draper was adamant that he must improve, and appears to have bounced back this week at the Cincinnati Open, where he is through to the third round after an imposing comeback victory over Stefanos Tsitsipas.

Jack Draper told to be more aggressive by Wayne Ferreira
There is no doubt that Jack Draper is an exciting prospect. The Brit has a solid game that is built around his explosive lefty forehand and powerful baseline strokes.
But since joining forces, Ferreira has insisted that he builds on this aggression, claiming that it is key to progressing to the top of the game.
“We felt like we wanted to add on someone to the team who can manage the load of being on the road all the time,” Draper told Tennis Channel. “Because most these coaches have families and a life.
“So, having Wayne come on board and give all his advice, having got to number six in the world and coaching Frances [Tiafoe] to top 10, I think he has incredible value.
“His message to me is that he has got to be more aggressive, to take more risk, and be the one to force the play.
“At the end of the day, I think tennis is going in that way where everyone is a lot more aggressive now. He’s a huge add-on to my team and I’m really excited with what’s to come with him.”
Who is Wayne Ferreira?
Ferreira established a name for himself on the tour in the late 1990s, having soared to a career-high of number six in the world and reached the semi-finals of the Australian Open on two occasions.
After retiring as a player, the South African turned to coaching and was responsible for guiding Frances Tiafoe into the world’s top ten before their split at the back end of 2023.
During their time together, Tiafoe made a stellar run to the semi-finals of the 2022 US Open and interestingly clinched the Stuttgart title last year.
