Jack Draper’s fitness is holding up as he produced another fine result – this time at the Paris Masters.

The British number one entered the final Masters 1000 event of the season just after winning the Vienna Open on Sunday.

The 22-year-old has yet to win a title at this level, but he is certainly one of the contenders after sending a warning shot to the other players with his latest victory.

In Paris, Draper overcame Taylor Fritz in three sets to advance to the round of 16 and continue his impressive run of form.

What is Jack Draper’s fitness update at the Paris Masters?

Jack Draper has had two difficult opponents in his way to commence his Paris Masters campaign. He defeated the hard-hitting Jiri Lehecka in his opening match before taking out Fritz on Wednesday evening.

The World number 15 outlasted the US Open runner-up 7-6(6), 4-6, 6-4 to advance to the next round. Draper’s had a long and gruelling season, but he is feeling good at present.

“I mean, getting better. I never like to put limitations on myself,” he said during his on-court interview. “I have done back to back weeks before. It’s really difficult, it’s at the end of the season.

“A lot of people hurting, not just myself. It’s important I keep my head down and I’ll keep fighting for every point no matter how I’m feeling. When you have that attitude of positivity you never know what is going to happen.”

Who is Jack Draper’s next opponent?

Draper’s Paris Masters campaign only gets tougher as he goes up against Alex de Minaur in the round of 16.

The Australian has had a strong season himself and is coming off a semi-final appearance at the Vienna Open.

De Minaur is chasing a spot in the ATP Finals, but he will have to overcome an in-form Draper to continue his campaign in the French capital.

De Minaur has three wins over Draper, but the Brit won their most recent encounter, which came at the US Open.

Draper sealed a 6-3 7-5 6-2 win to advance to the last four, his best result at a Grand Slam in his career so far.
