Iga Swiatek is ready to go for another season on the WTA Tour after achieving great success in 2025.

Swiatek had a fantastic season in 2025 in the eyes of her coach Wim Fissette, during which she won three titles.

Along with winning in Seoul and Cincinnati, Swiatek clinched her first-ever title at Wimbledon for her sixth career Grand Slam title.

The Pole, who ended 2025 ranked second on the WTA Tour behind Aryna Sabalenka, is now six for six in Grand Slam finals.

Iga Swiatek claims ‘the best is yet to come’ in 2026

Swiatek soon turns her focus to the United Cup, but first she has looked back on her latest season on social media.

She posted on Instagram: “Oh 2025, where do I even begin?

“Probably with the fact that I was healthy, happy, and surrounded by amazing, supportive people – and without that, it’s hard to ask for more. I’m lucky to be in this place.

“I fulfilled dreams that at times felt far too distant. These were moments and milestones I will never forget. Without hesitation, I can say that winning Wimbledon changed my already extraordinary life.

“I also learned important lessons and experienced a few difficult moments, but that’s the wheel of life. We experience, we reframe, we move on.

“I step into 2026 with a smile, determination, and the feeling that the best is yet to come. Thank you all for the support and positive energy that are a huge part of my motivation for what I do.

“See you soon! Bring it on 2026. Jazda!”

Iga Swiatek will have revenge on her mind at the very start of 2026

It will be difficult for Swiatek to top her 2025 season in 2026, but the Pole is confident she can do exactly that.

She did suffer a tricky period throughout her latest campaign, but bounced back in superb fashion on the court.

Only Sabalenka (four) secured more titles in 2025, with Swiatek joined on three by Jessica Pegula and Elena Rybakina.

Which country do you think will win the United Cup?

Fissette is hoping for improvements from Swiatek, who will be out for revenge from the very start of 2026.

She featured for Poland as they lost the 2025 United Cup final to the USA, suffering defeat in her meeting with WTA rival Coco Gauff.

Runners-up Poland return to this year’s event in Group F, where they have been drawn to play against Germany and the Netherlands in Sydney.
