Iga Swiatek is undoubtedly at the very top of her game, with the Pole looking unstoppable at this moment in time.
The world number one has just added a fifth Grand Slam title to her trophy collection after winning the French Open.
Her 6-2, 6-1 win over Jasmine Paolini on court Philippe-Chatrier means she has now lifted the iconic trophy for three years running, and four times overall.
The Pole is rapidly closing in on Chris Evert’s seven French Open successes, with the latter now predicting the former to overtake her after the latest win.
Swiatek looked very comfortable on the clay from day one, although she did suffer a huge scare in the second round.

Iga Swiatek names her potential rivals on the court
Her opponent Naomi Osaka did, however, blow a huge chance to knock out the world number one, with the Pole blowing tennis fans away as she produced a stunning turnaround.
Swiatek went on to defeat the likes of Marketa Vondrousova and Coco Gauff on her way to the title on the clay surface.
She has had many battles with the latter in particular, with journalist Ben Rothenberg asking questions of Gauff after her record against Swiatek fell to 11 losses from 12.
The Pole has now addressed that rivalry and others within women’s tennis, listing the opponents who could challenge her in the years to come.
“I think we already have some players that I’ve been facing a lot, like Aryna [Sabalenka], Coco, Elena [Rybakina],” Swiatek said in her press conference after winning the French Open.
“So, it’s not like we don’t have that, but for sure it’s not so obvious like Roger [Federer], Novak [Djokovic], and Rafa [Nadal].
“Sometimes it’s the draw, sometimes it’s the fact that one player is going to play well here, one player is going to play well in another place.
“So I can for sure imagine that [a rivalry], but I don’t know which of these players that would be or maybe somebody new. We’ll see.”
Can Iga Swiatek continue her dominance for years to come?
Many women’s stars have come and gone over the years, with Swiatek now top of the pile, having been there for some time.
It was a ruthless competition from start to finish, with the world number one dropping just one set on her way to the trophy, which came against Osaka.
She certainly found it difficult at times in the semi-final clash with Gauff, but ultimately emerged victorious 6-2, 6-4.
Another straight-set victory arrived in the final against Italian 12th seed Paolini, with Swiatek having now beaten four different players in her four French Open finals.
The first arrived in 2020 against Sofia Kenin, with successive successes then coming against Gauff and Karolina Muchova in 2022 and 2023 respectively.
It remains to be seen who can topple the world number one in the near future, but one certainty is that it will be a very difficult challenge.
Both second seed Sabalenka and fourth seed Rybakina fell at the quarter-final stage this time around, and so were unable to secure a meeting with Swiatek.
