Hubert Hurkacz has revealed who he thinks is the best player on the ATP Tour right now.

Hurkacz recently returned to the ATP Tour following a seven month absence after undergoing knee surgery.

The Pole has impressed in his return, with Hurkacz and Iga Swiatek helping Poland win the United Cup.

Looking to continue his resurgence back up the rankings, Hurkacz arrived in Montpellier for the ATP 250 tournament, where he was asked to pick between Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner.

Hurkacz’s campaign in Montpellier did not go to plan, as he was beaten in the first round by qualifier Martin Damm.

However, during his short amount of time in Montpellier, Hurkacz was asked to pick between a series of different ATP players for a tournament social media video.

After picking Sinner over Andy Murray and Daniil Medvedev, Hurkacz had to choose between the top two players on the ATP Tour right now.

Hurkacz decided to opt with world number one and Australian Open champion Alcaraz instead of picking Sinner for a third consecutive time.

This matches up with Hurkacz’s head-to-head against the two players, with the Pole having two wins over Sinner, but having lost all four of the matches he has played against Alcaraz.

Hubert Hurkacz picks his favorite player out of ‘The Big Three’

Alcaraz did not last long as Hurkacz’s pick, as he was then asked to choose between the Spaniard and Roger Federer.

Hurkacz immediately opted for Federer, who he also picked over Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic.

While his pick between Alcaraz and Sinner matched up to his head-to-head with them, Hurkacz has struggled against one player a lot more than the two other members of ‘The Big Three’.

Who is the greatest male tennis player of all time?

Hurkacz beat Federer in his final ever match at Wimbledon, and also had a winning head-to-head against Nadal.

However, the former world number six has never beaten Djokovic in the eight matches he has played against him.

Hurkacz will now look to move on from his disappointing campaign in Montpellier, with his next tournament taking place just next week.

This will be at the Rotterdam Open, where Hurkacz reached the semifinals last year before losing to Alcaraz.
