Though he was not able to secure a record-breaking 25th Grand Slam title in 2025, Novak Djokovic enjoyed another successful season on the ATP Tour.
The Serb reached the semifinals at each of the four majors, and proved that, at 38, he is still the third-best player in the world behind Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner.
At the Geneva Open in May, Djokovic claimed his 100th ATP title, becoming just the third man in history to do so, after Jimmy Connors and his longtime rival Roger Federer.

Six months later, he secured tour-level crown number 101, emerging victorious at the new-look ATP event in Athens, which marked his last appearance in 2025.
Djokovic finished the season with a record of 39 wins and 11 losses, and while he only featured at 13 tournaments, he still raked in plenty of prize money.
Novak Djokovic’s prize money earned during the 2025 ATP season
At majors, Djokovic earned a total of $3,775,704, with his biggest Grand Slam paycheck coming at the US Open.
- Australian Open Semifinals: A$1,100,000 ($708,400)
- Roland Garros Semifinals: €690,000 ($794,015)
- Wimbledon Semifinals: £775,000 ($1,013,289)
- US Open Semifinals: $1,260,000
He won $597,890 for making the final at the Miami Open, and $332,160 for his semifinal run at the Shanghai Masters.
In total, Djokovic claimed $5,127,247 in tournament prize money over the course of the 2025 season in singles, an increase on the $4,421,916 he won in 2024.
Who will win the 2026 Australian Open?
Djokovic’s 2025 sum was far less than what he has earned in previous years, however, when he was winning Grand Slam titles.
The legend still holds the record for the most prize money won in a season, which he achieved in 2015, when he recorded arguably the best year of his career by winning 11 titles.
That year, with singles, doubles and bonus pool earnings, Djokovic made a whopping $21,146,145.
| Player | Year | Prize Money |
| Novak Djokovic | 2015 | $21,146,145 |
| Jannik Sinner | 2024 | $19,735,703 |
| Jannik Sinner | 2025 | $19,120,641 |
| Carlos Alcaraz | 2025 | $18,803,427 |
| Andy Murray | 2016 | $16,349,701 |
| Rafael Nadal | 2019 | $16,349,586 |
| Novak Djokovic | 2018 | $15,967,184 |
| Novak Djokovic | 2023 | $15,952,044 |

| Carlos Alcaraz | 2023 | $15,196,504 |
Novak Djokovic will most likely see his prize money dip in 2026
As Djokovic nears the end of his career, he has made it clear that he is prioritising spending time with his family over anything else.
With this in mind, Djokovic is expected to feature at fewer events in the 2026 ATP season, with his sole focus on Grand Slams.
He will likely see a dip in prize money on the tour next year, but he will certainly still rake in plenty of money from lucrative exhibition events like the Six Kings Slam.
Although he will, of course, still want to break even more records in tennis, his body and priorities will now only allow for an easygoing schedule.
