Jack Draper has enjoyed an impressive 2024 season and Greg Rusedski thinks he can only get better.

After bursting on the scene as a teenager at Wimbledon in 2021, the British number one has been gradually improving his game.

The 22-year-old has certainly taken his game to the next level over the last year, and in the process claimed the first two titles of his career.

After reaching a career-high ranking, Jack Draper has the game and confidence to have a stellar 2025, and Rusedski explains why.

Where does Greg Rusedski think Jack Draper will be ranked in 2025?

Draper showed an impressive level of consistency throughout the 2024 season, especially in the second half of the season. Since the Cincinnati Masters in August, he has made at least the quarter-finals of each tournament he has entered.

In addition to his two titles, Draper reached his first Grand Slam semi-final at the US Open, in addition to making the Adelaide final in January.

This level of consistency resulted in Draper reaching a career-high ranking of 15, and Greg Rusedski believes his compatriot has what it takes to break into the top 10 next season.

“He has game. Big lefty, big serve, unbelievable return, great strokes,” he told Tennis Channel. “He has improved his transition game coming forward. I think he is one of those guys who is definitely going to be in the top 10 in 2025 and right now he is coming into form really well.

“Everybody doesn’t talk about his backhand. How good his two handed backhand is. There’s not really any weaknesses from the back of the court with the explosive forehand.

“If he can progress the way he did this year and then progress in the off season and get even stronger physically, watch out 2025. There is no reason why he can’t climb into the top five, the first 10, then you go by single digits.”
