Tiafoe’s concerning Grand Slam record outside of the United States, leaves little to be desired.
He thrives at the US Open, where he has achieved the best results of his career by reaching the last four on two occasions.
But after his second round loss at the Australian Open on Thursday, Tiafoe has now been defeated in the first week of the last seven Grand Slams outside the US.

Tiafoe reached round three at Wimbledon last season, and contested a five-set epic against Carlos Alcaraz, which the Spaniard won before going on to defend his title.
