Felix Auger-Aliassime is making his second appearance at the ATP Finals this year, but he believes he is a very different player.
Auger-Aliassime has reached the Paris Masters final, US Open semifinals and won his eighth career title in Brussels.
As a result, this impressive recent form has enabled Auger-Aliassime to qualify for the ATP Finals for the first time since 2022.
When looking ahead to returning to the prestigious tournament, Auger-Aliassime has explained what he thinks has been the biggest change for him in the past three years.

Felix Auger-Aliassime explains the biggest difference in his game since his last ATP Finals appearance
Auger-Aliassime has a career-high ranking of world number six, which he achieved in 2022, and is now closing in on that as the world number eight.
When speaking to BB Tennis, Auger-Aliassime actually suggested that he is better than the player he was in 2022 when asked about the biggest differences between him from then and now.
“So if I start with the tennis, I think my game has become more complete and more consistent,” said Auger-Aliassime. “I’ve always had a good serve and a good forehand, I feel like I’ve improved my backhand quite a bit and my return and also the consistency of my strengths.
“The accuracy of my serve and my forehand, sometimes it could be a bit up and down, but I think now it’s a bit more consistent so I’m going to work on trying to keep that going. And as a person, mentally I think there’s also less panic when times were tough.
“For example this year I didn’t win many matches for a few months and I managed to stay more calm than when I was 21 or 22, and when the moment came when I had my game back again I was able to capitalise on that level. So better consistency is the reason why I am here today.”
What happened when Felix Auger-Aliassime played the ATP Finals for the first time?
Auger-Aliassime made his debut appearance at the ATP Finals when he was just 22 years old, but it was not so successful.
Despite beating Rafael Nadal, whose uncle coached Auger-Aliassime for three years, the Canadian was unable to qualify from his group.
