A brilliant run of form in the second half of the season – coupled with a bit of a drop off for Musetti – has led Auger-Aliassime to this point.

Auger-Aliassime will be considered a bit of an underdog going into the ATP Finals, with Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz being the pick of many people to win the final event of 2025.

After his place was officially confirmed in Turin, Auger-Aliassime took to Instagram to speak of his delight at finally being confirmed as a participant.

He posted: “I think this means it’s officially go time. Locked and loaded. #atpfinals2025.”

Auger-Aliassime is clearly excited for the event in Turin and now he will hope to bring his very best form to the final tournament of 2025.

Auger-Aliassime has nothing to lose at the ATP Finals

When you enter the ATP Finals as the player in eighth place, there really isn’t a thing to lose with Auger-Aliassime now finding himself in that position.

Auger-Aliassime has Alexander Zverev, Ben Shelton and Paris Masters champion, Jannik Sinner in his group and there are chances for him to get wins in that group.

With a big serve and a desire to prolong points, Auger-Aliassime can play his natural game and simply see where it takes him at the event without any real pressure on his shoulders.

The future looks extremely bright for tennis in Canada and it will be intriguing to see how Auger-Aliassime can do at the tournament this time around.
