Felix Auger-Aliassime has fallen just short of a maiden Grand Slam final after losing his US Open semifinal to Jannik Sinner.
Tim Henman thinks Sinner will win the US Open, which would represent the Italian successfully defending his title from 2024.
Sinner defeated home favourite Taylor Fritz this time last year to win the title, with Carlos Alcaraz now standing in his way of another.
Auger-Aliassime meanwhile reached the US Open semifinals for the second time in his career, representing his best run at a Grand Slam.
Sinner praised Auger-Aliassime before their latest encounter, in which the ATP number one won 6-1, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4.

Arthur Ashe Stadium hosted the match between the Italian and the Canadian, the same venue for the upcoming final.
Asked afterwards for his thoughts on the venue and if he often felt like he was playing at home, Auger-Aliassime replied: “Kind of. Yeah, it was good.
“I mean, I have my perspective as a player, but I understand the perspective from the fans too. I mean Jannik, all credit to him.
“He’s been dominating on hard courts, but kind of everywhere. I think my story was just a little bit different this tournament.
“People have known my name around tennis and it was like a good story, as long as it went on. It stopped tonight.
“But I’m very pleased to come back home knowing that the crowd wanted me to go on and to keep playing well and to keep enjoying myself on the court.”
What is Felix Auger-Aliassime’s Grand Slam record after US Open exit?
World number one Sinner is currently chasing a second US Open title in New York, and a fifth Grand Slam title overall.
He’s won four of his five Grand Slam titles, and will be looking for further revenge over Alcaraz after losing their French Open final earlier this year.
Auger-Aliassime was his latest victim in another ruthless run, but the Canadian can be hugely proud of his efforts.
The 25th seed impressively knocked out the likes of Alexander Zverev, Alex de Minaur and Andrey Rublev before losing only to the top seed.

Auger-Aliassime even gave Sinner a scare in their semifinal at Arthur Ashe, but ultimately wasn’t able to end the Italian’s stunning run.
He now boasts a 27-match winning streak at hard-court Grand Slams, and just claimed his 300th career match win.
