Daniil Medvedev has landed a place in another ATP Tour final, with Alexander Bublik his opponent in Halle.
Medvedev will return to the ATP top 10 ahead of Wimbledon thanks to his run in Halle, host of the Terra Wortmann Open.
The 29-year-old Russian has battled into the final in Germany, with Medvedev seeking a 21st ATP title this week.
Medvedev liked his level ahead of the French Open, but the 11th seed suffered a shock opening round defeat to Cam Norrie.
He then fell in the Libema Open quarter-finals to Reilly Opelka, but has just beaten Alexander Zverev to reach the Halle final.

The former world number one has since reacted to that win, saying after the match: “It’s not only about the final, it’s the fact I am playing really great this week.
“I am looking forward to Wimbledon. I have played great there the last two years and I want to play great there this year too.

“I like grass. I can beat a lot of top players on grass. In the last two years it’s only Carlos [Alcaraz] that was really, really tough so I am looking forward to it.”
What Daniil Medvedev thinks of Alexander Zverev after beating him in Halle
Medvedev is wise to be wary of Alcaraz heading into Wimbledon, with the Spaniard having won each of the last two titles at SW19.
He has beaten Novak Djokovic on both occasions, and like Medvedev is into a final ahead of the grass court Grand Slam.

Alcaraz meets Jiri Lehecka in the final at Queen’s, with both events this week representing ATP 500 tournaments.
And while Alcaraz beat Roberto Bautista Agut in straight sets, Medvedev was forced into a much more end-to-end battle against Zverev.
He won 7-6(7-3), 6-7(1-7), 6-4, and said of the match: “I am for sure very happy with my level. I played great.
“I could have played better in the second set when I had the break or maybe on the match points, but he is a strong player. He fights until the end.

“I make a forehand down the line on the line and I win the match, it would be better, but I missed it. But it’s okay.
“I am happy that on the next match point on my serve I am happy I managed to make this forehand down the line winner.”
