Coco Gauff has updated fans on how she is doing after her quarterfinal loss at the Cincinnati Open.
Gauff was beaten by Jasmine Paolini, in a match where she hit a total of 62 unforced errors.
This has continued a mixed North American hard court swing so far, and there are now concerns for Gauff going into the US Open.
Days after her exit from the Cincinnati Open, Gauff has now posted on social media ahead of the New York major.

Coco Gauff posts on Instagram for the first time since her Cincinnati loss
Since Gauff won Roland Garros back in May, she has only won four of her next eight matches.
This includes Gauff’s defeat in the first round of Wimbledon, alongside her loss to Victoria Mboko in Montreal.
Following her second consecutive straight sets defeat to Paolini, Gauff has posted a collection of pictures from her time at the Cincinnati Open alongside a brief caption.
The world number two wrote, “In the rear view mirror… thank u @cincytennis.”
Why could Coco Gauff’s draw at the US Open now be made more difficult?
Despite exiting the Cincinnati Open early, Gauff is not playing mixed doubles at the US Open, something she has said would be the case from the start of the announcement of the event’s overhaul.
For Gauff, all eyes are now on the singles tournament, where she won her first Grand Slam title two years ago.
However, due to some of her recent results, Gauff is now at risk of being overtaken by Iga Swiatek in the WTA rankings.
This could have a huge impact on Gauff’s chances at the US Open, as she would no longer be a top two seed in the draw.
If Gauff falls to world number three in the WTA rankings, it will mean that she could have to play both Swiatek and Aryna Sabalenka to win the title, whereas that could have been avoided if she was still the second seed.
Swiatek will look to make that happen in the Cincinnati Open final, with a win confirming that Gauff will fall to world number three.
