Casper Ruud is firmly focused on progressing in his tennis career, but the Norwegian is also an avid golfer.
Ruud envies professional golfers, but he has been really impressing on the ATP Tour since becoming a tennis professional in 2015.
The 26-year-old currently occupies sixth in the world rankings, with Ruud among the star names now involved in the 2025 Miami Open.
Having received a bye in round one, he begins in round two against Miomir Kecmanovic, who has just beaten Aleksandar Kovacevic.
Ruud is the fifth seed at the ATP Masters 1000 tournament, in what is his first event since he suffered a disappointing early exit at Indian Wells.

Casper Ruud lives out ‘number one bucket list’ moment at Augusta National
He was, however, afforded the opportunity to live out a dream ahead of the Miami Open, having taken on the iconic Augusta National golf course.
“I won’t, what do you say, tell too much, but I was lucky enough to go and play my favourite hobby sport, which is golf, at the probably most sacred golf place on earth if you ask me,” he told Sky Sports.
“I was very lucky and fortunate to be invited to play at Augusta National. So that’s, for me, all my kind of life almost been the number one bucket list thing to do and to get to do, so it was an incredible experience.
“When you watch that tournament all your life on TV, and to be there and see it with your own eyes was… I just kind of, I feel like I don’t have a word in my vocabulary to describe it properly and the way it’s deserved to be described.
“So I’m just going to leave it there, and just had a great time and will remember that forever. But you know we’re in Miami now, and time to focus on tennis again.”
Casper Ruud can ‘live happily’ after shooting in the 70s at Augusta National
Located in Georgia, the United States, Augusta National Golf Club is one of the most iconic venues in all of sport, not just golf.
It plays host to the Masters, one of the four major championships in the sport, which returns early next month.

Legendary figures Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods and Arnold Palmer are among the players to have won the major on multiple occasions, along with defending champion Scottie Scheffler.
And Ruud has now joined them in taking on all of its challenges, with the Norwegian certainly living out the dream life at this moment in time.

Asked if he played well during his experience, Ruud replied: “I played well yeah, I played well. I shot in the 70s, so that’s good.
“After every round there will be like mistakes, oh I wish I didn’t do that, I wish I didn’t do this. But I had some good shots and a good score, so I can live happily with that and look forward to watching the tournament on TV now that I’ve been there. But yeah, it’s hard to explain how incredible that place is.”
