Carlos Alcaraz celebrated his French Open win by getting a special tattoo.

The Spaniard made history by becoming the youngest player to win Roland Garros and Wimbledon in the same season.

He defeated Alexander Zverev in five sets to win the clay court major, while he thrashed Novak Djokovic in back-to-back finals at the All-England Club.

The World number three certainly enjoyed his latest achievements in the game, but he now has a permanent reminder of success in Paris.

What tattoo did Carlos Alcaraz get?

After winning the French Open title for the first time, Alcaraz claimed he would get a tattoo of the Eiffel Tower, along with the date of the triumph.

This has now become a reality as tattoo artist named Ganga from the United States, posted a clip on Instagram of the tattoo he inked just above the Spaniard’s left ankle.

He captioned the video: “Thank you brother @rolandgarros for coming home to tattoo your first @carlitosalcarazz you are an inspiration to all! The next one in a while.”

After successfully defending his Wimbledon crown, Alcaraz told the Tennis Channel his plans for some new body art.

“I told my parents, just to calm them, that it will just be the first one in every major,” the World number three said.

“But this is a really big moment. Probably I am going to put the date of this one next to last year. I have to discuss it with them!”

Carlos Alcaraz wants Olympics success after French Open and Wimbledon glory

It remains to be seen if Alcaraz will get a tattoo of the Olympic rings should he claim the gold medal at the Paris Games. The event will take place at Roland Garros, the same venue where he lifted the French Open title in June.

The 21-year-old is set to play in his first Olympics and will compete in the singles as well as the men’s doubles alongside Spanish compatriot and 22-time Grand Slam champion, Rafael Nadal.

Excited to have the chance to deliver some coveted hardware for his country, Alcaraz told Tennis Channel: “I have huge expectations for the Olympic Games – not to the result side but to enjoy the experience of being in the villa with all the Spanish athletes.

“It’s going to be a really beautiful moment for me. I will try and enjoy it as much as I can. For the tournament I am going to go for the title.

“I am going to go thinking I am able to win it, that’s my goal, to bring a medal to my country. Hopefully the gold medal and the doubles with Rafa is going to be a dream moment for me.”
