Carlos Alcaraz has been on fine form in Turin and is now just one step away from the title…
The Spaniard continued his march towards the title on Saturday, as Alcaraz beat Felix Auger-Aliassime in straight sets, 6-2, 6-4.
Alcaraz was dominant from start to finish, making light work of Auger-Aliassime, who is undoubtedly one of the best players in the world on indoor hard courts.

Picking up the win over the Canadian, Alcaraz booked his place in the ATP Finals final and secured himself another piece of history.

Alcaraz has left many impressed with his efforts in 2025, including British tennis legend Tim Henman.
Tim Henman reacts as Carlos Alcaraz reaches the ATP Finals championship match
During commentary for Sky Sports, former world number four Henman shared his thoughts on Alcaraz’s performance vs Auger-Aliassime.
“[Carlos] Alcaraz was just in a different league, so powerful, so explosive,” he said.
“[Felix] Auger-Aliassime leaving the court, disappointed with the loss.”
He then previewed the final, where the two best players in the world will compete for one of the biggest titles in tennis.
“It really is fitting that we’ve got the Alcaraz/Sinner final,” said Henman.
“It’s what we expected before the tournament, but they are the ones who have got to go out there and produce the goods.
“Played four, won four, each of them, and what an atmosphere that is going to be tomorrow.”
Both players will head into the final with a perfect record, but which of Sinner and Alcaraz has been more dominant in Turin?
Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner’s routes to the final
| Player | Record | Set record | Game record | Time on court |
| Jannik Sinner | 4-0 | 8-0 | 51-29 | 6 hours, 43 minutes |
| Carlos Alcaraz | 4-0 | 8-1 | 56-34 | 7 hours, 14 minutes |
There’s not much separating them, but there’s an argument to suggest that Sinner has had a slightly easier time of things at his home tournament.
Only time will tell if that will pay dividends in the final, but you certainly won’t want to miss any of the action when Sinner and Alcaraz do battle for a 16th time on the ATP Tour.
Sinner and Alcaraz will contest the 2025 ATP Finals final on Sunday, November 16.
