Carlos Alcaraz did what Carlos Alcaraz does best in the semifinals of the 2025 ATP Finals.
The 2025 year-end number one showed his class in Turin once more, as he defeated Felix Auger-Aliassime in straight sets, 6-2, 6-4.
Alcaraz will now move on to play his biggest rival, Jannik Sinner, in the final, who is searching for his second consecutive title at the event.

The fans in Turin have been particularly partisan in 2025, and boos were heard when Alcaraz was shown on screen earlier in the week.
During his post-match interview, Alcaraz gave his verdict on the Italian fans and suggested what he expects them to do in the final.
Carlos Alcaraz expects the ‘whole stadium’ to support Jannik Sinner in a ‘Davis Cup’ atmosphere
Alcaraz is under no illusions about who the fans are going to be cheering on in the ATP Finals championship match.
“Copa Davis… almost the Davis Cup,” he said.
“I think the whole stadium is going to be supporting him, I’ve got to be prepared for that.
“I just hope, three or four people in the crowd are cheering for me, I have my friends, hopefully I’m going to hear them more than the crowd.
“I think it’s going to be an interesting atmosphere to play in.”
He is, however, looking forward to playing Sinner again, in their sixth ‘big’ final of the year.
“Obviously, it’s great, facing Jannik [Sinner],” he said.
“If it were someone else, I wouldn’t mind, to be honest, but it’s great, because, thanks to him, I try to approach the match in a different way, more focused.
“I know that I have to play my plan A if I want to beat him, if I want to win the tournament, so I think we are both going to raise our level to the top, which is going to be great for us, great for the crowd.
“It’s great to see Jannik Sinner in another final this year.”
Do you think Carlos Alcaraz will win the ATP Finals?
Alcaraz knows he will need to be at his best to beat Sinner, but if he can play anywhere near as well as he did against Auger-Aliassime, he might just be alright…
“I felt like I could do everything on court, it didn’t matter if I went forehand down the line, drop shots, backhand down the line, I felt like everything was going to be in,” he said.
“I think that confidence was really helpful, coming through the whole match, just pushing him to the limit, pushing him to do something else, something different.

“I’m just happy that I continued playing such great tennis.”
Only time will tell if he can produce that same ‘great tennis’ in his 16th career meeting with the four-time Grand Slam champion.
Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner’s head-to-head record
The Spaniard and Italian have dominated men’s tennis over the past two years, and in doing so have developed one of the most captivating rivalries in the world of sport.
It’s Alcaraz who has dominated proceedings so far, leading their head-to-head 10-5, winning seven of their last eight matches.

Looking at their record, you’d be brave to bet against Alcaraz, although beating Sinner on an indoor hard court is certainly no stroll in the park.
The Italian hasn’t lost a match indoors in 727 days and has won 30 consecutive matches on the surface in that time.
It remains to be seen if Alcaraz is the man to end that streak, but you certainly won’t want to miss any of the action when the pair face off for the title on Sunday, November 16.
