Carlos Alcaraz looks like being the man to beat at Wimbledon once more after his fourth round win over Ugo Humbert.
The Spaniard has been impressing on the grass once more this year, having lifted the iconic trophy last time out.
Alcaraz has certainly been tested at Wimbledon, with his route to the quarter-finals not as straightforward as he would have liked.
But the three-time Grand Slam champion would have expected nothing less at the All England Club in London.
Straight set wins were recorded over Mark Lajal and Aleksandar Vukic in rounds one and two respectively, followed by a five-set victory over Frances Tiafoe.

The American noted that he was ‘a little tentative in the ‘breaker’ in that clash, with Alcaraz claiming that he increases his level in the fifth set.
The Spaniard then overcame Humbert 6-3, 6-4, 1-6, 7-5, with that win helping Alcaraz achieve a stunning record.

As per BBC Sport, he has now reached a ninth Grand Slam quarter-final from his first 14 attempts, the most of any male player at the beginning of their career.

The world number three has enjoyed a stunning career so far, with Alcaraz winning the US Open, Wimbledon and the French Open aged just 21.
Not even legendary figures Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal reached such heights at that stage of their remarkable careers.
Indeed, John McEnroe has claimed that Alcaraz is already better than the star duo and current ace Novak Djokovic at 21.
The Serbian sits top of the all-time list for Grand Slams in the Open Era with 24, closely followed by Nadal’s 22 and Federer’s 20.
But the Spanish star is hot on their trail, with Alcaraz now on an 11-match winning streak in Grand Slams following his latest victory.
