Carlos Alcaraz is the new kid on the block in the world of professional tennis and last week he retained his Wimbledon crown.
The Spaniard beat Novak Djokovic in the final for a second successive year and he’s now won four Grand Slam titles.
Alcaraz is the youngest player to ever grab a major title on all three surfaces, achieving the feat at 21-years-old.
Not only is Alcaraz a quality tennis player but he’s also a thoroughly likeable bloke currently playing on the ATP tour.
Following his latest win at SW19, Alcaraz has been quizzed on a number of quick-fire topics about his fellow players.

During his run to Wimbledon glory, Alcaraz had to suffer in some of the matches he played.
His third-round five-set epic against Frances Tiafoe was one match that could so easily have gone badly for the eventual champion.
Alcaraz came through in five sets and now he’s had some kind words for the American player.
Speaking in an interview with the ATP tour on X, Alcaraz named Tiafoe as the nicest player currently playing on the circuit.
Later in the interview, Alcaraz also claimed that Tiafoe would be the funniest player and also his wing-man on a night out.
Clearly there is a lot of respect between the two players and there will likely be many more great matches between the two in years to come.
What Frances Tiafoe said after losing to Carlos Alcaraz
It’s fair to say that Tiafoe had some regrets after going out of Wimbledon to Alcaraz earlier this month.
The American paid tribute to the Spanish player after their match but he suggested he probably should have beaten him.
He told tennis.com: “I was a little tentative in the tie-breaker. I wish I was swinging out on my shots a little more from the ground. I thought I let him dictate too much.
Alcaraz is now preparing for the Olympics but Tiafoe won’t be playing at the games and instead, he will have his focus on the US Open.
The 26-year-old has reached the semis of that tournament previously and if he comes up against Alcaraz again he will be ready for him.
Tiafoe might be a nice guy but perhaps he needs to develop a bit of a nasty streak if he’s to get his hands on the big prizes.
There is some time on his side and hopefully, he can quickly get over his Wimbledon loss and improve on his world ranking of 28 before the year is out.
