Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner were the clear winners of the 2025 ATP Tour season, having been the two dominant forces once again.

Alcaraz and Sinner shared the four Grand Slam titles in the 2024 season, and backed that up by doing the same this time around.

But their success in 2025 wasn’t limited to Grand Slam events, with Alcaraz winning eight ATP titles overall.

Sinner secured six, with Alcaraz claiming the year-end number one ranking after an exciting battle with his rival.

Cameron Norrie picks Carlos Alcaraz over Jannik Sinner

The pair have now been discussed by their fellow professional Cameron Norrie, who was asked on the Nothing Major Show who he thinks is better.

Norrie replied: “I have never played Sinner. I have practiced with him a lot. I really want to play him. I would like to do that first before I give you my honest opinion but I always back Alcaraz to be honest.

“I always think he has more variety and I love watching him. He is so good to watch, my favourite to watch. So I always back Alcaraz and I stick with him.”

Who will win the 2026 Australian Open?

Cameron Norrie suggests why he has three wins against Carlos Alcaraz

While Norrie has never played against the Italian, he’s been drawn to face Alcaraz on eight occasions on the ATP Tour.

And impressively, the British number two boasts three wins from those eight matches, a statistic he has now discussed.

Asked why he has three wins, Norrie said: “I don’t know to be honest. You have to play well and I think it’s nice to be the underdog going in to play him. You have to stay disciplined with him and keep hanging with him.”

Who will join Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner in a new ‘big three’?

Norrie remains behind Jack Draper in the British men’s rankings, while he didn’t win a title in 2025, but he has plenty to be proud of.

He finished the season 27th in the ATP rankings, with a Wimbledon quarterfinal run among his achievements.

And there was also a stunning victory over Alcaraz, with Norrie winning their round of 32 clash at the ATP Masters 1000 Paris.
