Alexander Zverev is back to winning ways after cruising past Ugo Humbert in the final of the Paris Masters.
Zverev has Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz in his sights, with the German now moving past the Spaniard into second in the ATP Tour rankings.
He faced a tough test on paper in the Paris Masters final against Humbert, who had beaten Alcaraz on his way to the final.
Moreover, the Frenchman had the support of the crowd behind him, but Zverev used all of his experience to dampen their spirits early on.
The Paris Masters third seed stormed to a 6-2, 6-2 victory in France, clinching his seventh ATP Masters 1000 title.

Alexander Zverev moves back to ATP Tour number two
Not only has Zverev clinched another title at the Paris Masters, but his fine run has also resulted in a return to world number two.
It is a testament to his hard work in recent times, particularly given the superb displays of Alcaraz this season.
Zverev is now back to his highest career rank ever, with a number one ranking surely eyed in the near future.
But that will be a near-impossible task given the success enjoyed by current world number one Sinner in 2024.
Zverev will, however, be full of confidence when he looks to lift another trophy at the ATP Finals later this month.
