Daniil Medvedev will be sick of the sight of Jannik Sinner as he lost to him for the second time in less than a week.
The Russian was defeated by the World number one in the Shanghai Masters quarter-final on October 10.
Six days later, he fell short against the Italian once again, but this time by an even more convincing scoreline of 0-6, 3-6 in the Six Kings Slam.
This is Daniil Medvedev’s eighth defeat against Sinner from their last nine matches, but the result in Saudi Arabia does not count towards their ATP head-to-head rivalry as it took place in an exhibition tournament.

Jannik Sinner’s dominance over Medvedev continued as the former US Open champion was overwhelmed by the brilliance from the current title holder at Flushing Meadows.
Medvedev managed just one break point in set one and after failing to break serve while trailing 3-4 in the second set, the World number threw his racket to the ground several times.
Liam Broady, who commented on the match, spotted the worrying signs that Sinner was having on Medvedev, while praising the 23-year-old’s excellent play.
“I was pretty speechless [with Jannik Sinner’s level]. To see Medvedev smashing his racket up after the second game you know he was panicking out there,” the British player said on Sky Sports.
“He feels uncomfortable. He doesn’t really know what to do and he’s only eight or nine points into the match. That is not where you want to be against the number one of the world.”

Following his defeat to Sinner in just one hour and eight minutes, Medvedev’s Six Kings Slam campaign is now over.
Despite playing just one match the former World number one earned a staggering £1,155,312 for his appearance.
It is a more astonishing figure when broken down, as Medvedev earned £16,743 per minute, or £278.82 per second.
The other Six Kings Slam competitors such as Sinner, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz and Holger Rune, are each guaranteed to take home at least £1.2 million.
The player who wins the tournament will take home an eye-watering £4.5 million, which is the largest sum of prize money in tennis history.
