The eight-man line-up for the ATP Finals in Turin has finally been announced, and it does not include Novak Djokovic.
The 24-time Grand Slam champion withdrew from the event on Tuesday because he has not fully recovered from an ongoing injury.
His absence paves the way for another top player to compete for the illustrious trophy next week.
The Tennis Gazette provides the full line-up for the ATP Finals, with a 16-time Tour winner drafted in to replace Djokovic.

ATP Finals lineup confirmed as Novak Djokovic misses out
Here is the full line-up for the ATP Finals in Turin next week:
- 1) Jannik Sinner – 10,330 points
- 2) Carlos Alcaraz – 6,810 points
- 3) Alexander Zverev – 6,515 points
- 4) Daniil Medvedev – 4,830 points
- 5) Taylor Fritz – 4,300 points
- 6) Casper Ruud – 3,855 points
- 7) Alex de Minaur – 3,745 points
- 8) Andrey Rublev – 3,720 points
World number one Jannik Sinner lost to Djokovic in the final last season and is the favourite to win the tournament this time around.
Meanwhile, Carlos Alcaraz is not in top form – and could even fall outside the top two in the world rankings – but you can never rule out the Spaniard.
Alexander Zverev (2018, 2021) and Daniil Medvedev (2020) are the only past champions in the field.
US Open quarter-finalist Alex de Minaur will make his ATP Finals debut and become the first Australian to participate since Lleyton Hewitt in 2004.

Why Andrey Rublev replaced Novak Djokovic at ATP Finals
Novak Djokovic is in sixth place in the Race to Turin so he qualified for the ATP Finals and would have defended his title if not for injury.
But Djokovic’s withdrawal means another player has received an invite to the season finale, which was also decided on the Race to Turin.
Andrey Rublev is in ninth place, 380 points ahead of Grigor Dimitrov (3,340 points), so he has since been added to the star-studded line-up.
Rublev has won 16 times on the ATP Tour, including the Madrid Open earlier this year, and this will be his fifth consecutive appearance at the Finals.
