With the Wimbledon draw out, Taylor Fritz now knows what his path to potential glory looks like.
He, like every other American in the draw, will have grand ambitions of upsetting the expected favourites and enjoying a deep run in SW19.
However, to do so he will surely have to get a bit of luck, whilst also exorcising the demons of the past which have prevented him from surpassing the quarter-finals in all of the previous Grand Slams.
But with another title freshly under his belt, and in fine form going into Wimbledon, Taylor Fritz has every right to be confident.
Andy Roddick makes Taylor Fritz Wimbledon prediction
Although Andy Roddick‘s assessment of Fritz’s chances at Wimbledon was short, it remained sweet for the 26-year-old, who would certainly like to think that a deep run is in the offing.
Especially after his triumph in Eastbourne, becoming the first man ever to win the competition on three separate occasions.

Now, speaking on the Served with Andy Roddick podcast, the former world number one detailed how that had affected his predictions.
He simply stated: ‘I’m going Fritz to the semis.’
Short and simple, and likely music to Fritz’s ears.
Which American will make it the furthest in the men’s draw?
Despite there being such a wealth of talent within American tennis, on the men’s side they seem to lack the elite-level player to match the consistency of Coco Gauff for the women.
After all, players like Fritz, Ben Shelton, Tommy Paul and Frances Tiafoe all have their respective strengths, but struggle to showcase those talents regularly enough to be recognised as one of the greatest of their generation.

However, should one of them enjoy a deep run, or shockingly win a Grand Slam, that could all change.
Not only would their ranking take a sharp upturn, but that burden would be lifted, finally allowing some freedom in their play.
Having returned as the American number one, just a week after Paul had snagged the spot from him, Fritz is surely one of the favourites to go deep.
But, the man who he traded places with in the rankings is fresh from winning Queen’s, the event which Carlos Alcaraz won last year, and then won Wimbledon.
Shelton has struggled on grass in 2024 despite having a game seemingly tailor-made for the surface, whilst Tiafoe just seems unable to play no matter the conditions.

Other outside contenders are Sebastian Korda, another good mover on the turf, and Christopher Eubanks enjoyed a historic run in this competition last year.
Here’s every American player’s first-round Wimbledon draw ahead of its imminent start.
