Novak Djokovic has stolen plenty of headlines as Wimbledon approaches, which is unsurprising given his recent injury issues.
The former world number one’s appearance at the competition was thrown into doubt when he withdrew from the French Open earlier this month.
The fears he would miss out at SW19 were then significantly worsened when the Serbian underwent knee surgery.
But Djokovic has made a remarkable recovery since then to make it back in time for the third major of the year.
That recovery has stunned former star Andy Roddick, who says he got in trouble for saying it was the Serb’s choice to share videos of his current levels of fitness.

Andy Roddick makes Novak Djokovic prediction at Wimbledon
It remains to be seen exactly how Djokovic will cope in the latter stages of Wimbledon should he make it that far.
But the world number two, who will face Czech qualifier Vit Kopriva in round one, is confident that he can go all the way.
Roddick is also predicting big things for the Serb in the coming weeks, particularly given his potential route to the final.
“I think Novak, if even close to healthy, is going to find his way through this tournament,” Roddick said on the Served with Andy Roddick podcast.
“I think big, big deal is that the first week, right? We’re sure you’re looking at first round, second round, third round… I don’t see those matches dictating that he’s going to be on the court forever if he’s even close to healthy.
“It doesn’t look like the types of matches where he’s going to be pushed four or five hours on that knee, which is obviously a bigger deal now.
“I have Novak in the final. I have Novak in the final against Jannik Sinner and Sinner winning the tournament.”
Can Novak Djokovic win yet another Wimbledon title?
Djokovic will have plenty of motivation to succeed at Wimbledon this year, with his swift recovery from injury epitomising his ambitions for glory.
Perhaps at the top of his list is equalling Roger Federer’s Open Era tally of eight titles at the iconic competition.
But also on his mind will be proving any people wrong about just how much of a physical specimen he is following that French Open withdrawal.
There is also the small matter of revenge, with Djokovic having lost the 2023 Wimbledon final to Carlos Alcaraz.
Having been named on opposite sides of the draw, the pair could meet once again in the final in London this time around.
To reach that stage, however, the Serbian will face many top players, with Holger Rune and Hubert Hurkacz among those potentially standing in his way.
