Nick Kyrgios is set to return from injury at the 2025 Brisbane International.
The Australian superstar has struggled with knee and wrist injuries in recent years, but is set to return to the court ahead of the new ATP season.
Kyrgios will play in the Brisbane Open, a warm-up tournament for the Australian Open, alongside the likes of Novak Djokovic, Holger Rune, and Frances Tiafoe.

It will be Kyrgios‘ first appearance since losing in the first round at Stuttgart back in June 2023.
Unsurprisingly, the controversial star has never strayed too far from the headlines whilst away from the court, with Kyrgios recently saying what he ‘hates’ about tennis.
He’ll be looking to make headlines for the right reasons in the new year, and one tennis legend certainly seems to think he has the talent to do so.
Andy Roddick claims Nick Kyrgios is just as talented as the ‘big three’
Speaking on his Served with Andy Roddick podcast, the former world number one was full of praise for Kyrgios.
“[Nick] Kyrgios is great for the sport,” he said.
“I wish he was around more often.
“I’d love to see him in full flight committing to three years of the right decisions.
“He’s amazing.”
Roddick went on to make a massive claim about just how impressive Kyrgios can be.
“He’s one of the only guys I’ve seen that are on par with the big three in terms of talent,” he said.
“He has that much talent in his hands, in his tennis IQ, the way he sees the game.”

Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, and Rafael Nadal make up the so-called ‘big three’, a trio widely considered to include the greatest ATP players of all time.
The 2003 US Open champion thinks that if he combined his game with the Australian’s, they could’ve been a force to be reckoned with.
“I would go back in a heartbeat without thinking twice if I could have his game and my ability to take pain,” said Roddick.
“We would’ve been a good player.”
Has Nick Kyrgios beaten Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, and Novak Djokovic?
Kyrgios is one of very few men that can say they have beaten every member of the big three.
The Australian has scored a number of big wins against the very best players the sport has to offer during his time on the ATP Tour.
| Won against | Year | Tournament |
| Rafael Nadal | 2014 | Wimbledon – 4R |
| Roger Federer | 2015 | Madrid Masters – 3R |
| Novak Djokovic | 2017 | Acapulco – QF |
| Novak Djokovic | 2017 | Indian Wells – 4R |
| Rafael Nadal | 2017 | Cincinnati Masters – QF |
| Rafael Nadal | 2019 | Acapulco – 4R |
Not only has the 29-year-old won six matches against the big three, he is also one of just three men to have beaten each member of the big three on his first attempt.
Kyrgios’ wins against Nadal in 2014, Federer in 2015, and Djokovic in 2017, saw him take the lead in the head-to-head against each of them.
Only Lleyton Hewitt and former world number six Dominik Hrbaty can join Kyrgios in saying they have achieved such a historic feat.
Kyrgios will no doubt be hoping to make more history next season, as he prepares to return at the Brisbane International which begins on December 29.
