What is next for Eva Lys after her exit from the Charleston Open?
Following her tough start to the 2026 season, Lys has dropped down the rankings and is now outside the top 70.
Lys will hope to return to form during the clay season, as she looks to end her four-match losing streak at her next tournament.
The next tournament Lys will play is at the WTA 500 event in Stuttgart, where she has received a wildcard to play alongside the likes of Aryna Sabalenka, Elena Rybakina, Gauff and Iga Swiatek.
Lys will then play qualifying at the Madrid Open, as she just missed out from directly entering for the first WTA 1000 tournament of the clay court season.
It is unclear as to which other tournaments Lys will enter ahead of the French Open, but she is also likely to play qualifying at the Italian Open.
