Alex de Minaur and Katie Boulter just continue to go from strength to strength, and it is supremely endearing to watch the two thrive together.
Their rapid rise has been meteoric, and with two titles apiece now in 2024, it feels like they are somehow destined to continue their rise alongside one another.
That was certainly exemplified last weekend, as both raced to titles in emphatic fashion.
Boulter deserves particular praise, for coming from one set down against Emma Raducanu on the Sunday morning, playing the final later that same day, and then coming from a set down again in a weather-afflicted tournament.
It is a feat that certainly has left her boyfriend stunned.
Alex de Minaur can’t believe what Katie Boulter has just done
Taking to X, the Australian, who has now climbed up to seventh in the ATP World Rankings, was supremely complimentary of his in-form girlfriend.
The Briton has enjoyed a similarly transformative year too, and having started 2024 with just one WTA title, already she has tripled that tally with wins in San Diego and now Nottingham.

However, it was the fact that she did so on the same weekend that De Minaur did too, the second time that that has happened this season.
He wrote: ‘How did that happen again @katiecboulter. You are a joke!!! #doubletrouble’.
De Minaur won the Mexican Open back in March, and then flew out to witness Boulter win in the US, her first WTA 500-level triumph.
The current power couple of tennis strikes again
With Gael Monfils and Elina Svitolina another standout tennis couple, as the slightly older foil to Stefanos Tsitispas and Paula Badosa, it has felt like this scene has been crying out for a refresh in recent years.
And, with De Minaur and Boulter, that is exactly what we have gotten, with these two smashing down all the suggestions that being in such a relationship cannot aid one’s career.
Well, 2024 has marked a supremely profitable for both of them, who have each ascended to their personal best in the ATP and WTA rankings respectively.

Not only are they both performing at a supremely high level, but they always seem to attribute their successes to one another in interviews, with Boulter taking to Instagram after Sunday’s Nottingham win to congratulate her boyfriend, writing: ‘inspiration everyday’.
Although, Boulter did try to embarrass De Minaur after the two first won titles on the same weekend earlier this year.
It is hard not to see these two as the outstanding power couple in the sport at the moment, as they just continue to go from strength to strength.
The tennis world is loving watching them ascend together.
