Aryna Sabalenka has continued her phenomenal career at the US Open, where she has claimed her fourth Grand Slam title.
Sabalenka successfully defended her US Open title from 2024, when she overcame home favourite Jessica Pegula.
The Belarusian broke more American hearts this year with her final win over Amanda Anisimova, who she beat 6-3, 7-6(7-3).
Two of her four Grand Slam successes have arrived at the hard-court tournament, with her other two coming on the hard courts of the Australian Open.
The 27-year-old is now a 21-time champion on the WTA Tour, and has retained her spot at the top of the world rankings after her American run.

Aryna Sabalenka’s career prize money compared to Serena Williams
Sabalenka loved emulating Serena Williams in New York, having become the first woman to defend her US Open title since the legendary figure in 2014.
The current world number one also earned a huge $5million check for her success, representing the largest winning prize in Grand Slam history.
And that has taken her career prize money to $42,300,521, with Carlos Alcaraz surpassing $50million following his US Open success.
Sabalenka does, however, remain well behind Williams in the all-time earnings list, with the American having made $94,816,730 throughout her glittering career.
Where do Aryna Sabalenka and Serena Williams rank in the WTA prize money list?
Williams is unsurprisingly at the very top of the WTA all-time money list with her huge figure, with her sister Venus Williams in second.
But the latter is well behind the former, as are Iga Swiatek, Sabalenka and Simona Halep in third, fourth and fifth respectively.
| Rank | Player | Earnings |
| 1 | Serena Williams | $94,816,730 |
| 2 | Venus Williams | $42,867,364 |
| 3 | Iga Swiatek | $42,595,015 |
| 4 | Aryna Sabalenka | $42,300,521 |
| 5 | Simona Halep | $40,236,618 |
| 6 | Victoria Azarenka | $38,890,473 |
| 7 | Maria Sharapova | $38,777,962 |
| 8 | Petra Kvitova | $37,653,615 |
| 9 | Caroline Wozniacki | $36,441,868 |
| 10 | Angelique Kerber | $32,519,180 |
It will be intriguing to see just how close the current crop can get to Williams, who won’t be caught by her sister despite her recent comeback.
And Swiatek and Sabalenka are undoubtedly the players to watch in that regard, but they still have a very, very long way to go to reach the American icon.
